As mentioned above, when you complete an online form on our Sites or when you complete our Webform embedded on a Third-Party Partner's website we collect and use your information (including your personal information) to respond to your request for quotes and rates for products and services offered by such Third-Party Partners. For example, you may be asked to provide your name, address, telephone number, email, and other information in order to be matched to companies and agents who may provide you a quote for their services. Or you may be asked to provide home and destination airports and travel dates so that we can show you flight and hotel options. The categories of information you can provide to us through our Sites and Webforms depends on the nature of the Third-Party Partner's products and services for which you are requesting quotes or rates.
Automatic Collection. We may also collect other information from you through automatic means such as device type, browser type, IP Address (which is treated as personal information in some jurisdictions, but which we use only to identify your geographic area and to comply with applicable laws) or other demographic and usage information. Telephone Calls and Email. We may collect information from you during phone calls that you initiate to us or that we or our Third-Party Partners may initiate (on our behalf) with your prior consent to you or when you send us correspondence by mail or email. The categories of information we collect from you or that you can provide to us through calls, mail, and email depends on the nature of the Third-Party Partner's products and services for which you are requesting quotes or rates and the purpose of your call, mail, and email to us.
Offline and Other Sources. In addition, we might receive information about you from other online or offline sources and we may combine such information with the information you have provided.
We share the information we collect from you including personal information under the following circumstances:
Quote Requests. If you submit a request for price quotes or rates for Third-Party Partner's products or services, we will share the information contained in your request form (such as your name, address, telephone number, email, information about your cars, health, travel destination, etc.) with our Third-Party Partners, which may include agents, carriers, lead aggregators, and other service providers in our network, to process and fulfill your request. The information we share with such Third-Party Partners and the information you provide directly to such Third-Party Partners (see "Third Party Links" below) will be subject to their privacy policies and procedures. Our agreements require Third-Party Partners to secure any personal information we provide to them and limit how they can use such information. Our agreements also require these Third-Party Partners to comply with national, state, and other applicable privacy regulations. By submitting your request to us, you understand that we and our Third-Party Partners may contact you by telephone (including through automated calling or using recorded messages), text messages (SMS), email, or postal mail based on the information you provide to us, in order to process and fulfill your request or to market additional products and services that might be of interest to you.
You understand that by providing your information, you are agreeing to be contacted by us and our Third-Party Partners, even if you have opted into the National Do Not Call List administered by the Federal Trade Commission, or any similar mechanism to opt-out of receiving phone calls or email messages. If one of these Third-Party Partners contacts you and you wish not to be contacted again by that Third-Party Partner, then you should specifically make such a request with them (as noted above, see their privacy policy for how to exercise your choices with such Third-Party Partner).
